It has been a pleasure to have Elvira on board. She has been involved in different activities including completion of all incoming credit rating requests. This involves a high degree of time sensitivity and follow up with our service partners. She also undertook a major project of reorganizing credit info for our clients.

She has been actively learning how to use RBC systems and continues to assist staff in resolving investigations.

She has a very positive attitude and demonstrates willingness to learn. Her communication skills are fairly good and she is able to express herself satisfactorily, but her writing skills need more development.

I am very pleased with her performance. She is very pleasant to work with and always accepts responsibilities cheerfully. Makes all the difference!

Everyone loves Rafik. In fact, I’m having a hard time keeping him with my team. Everyone in the larger office is asking to borrow him, so I’m becoming territorial !!!

In addition to spread sheet duties, we gave him a couple of other fun jobs: A “field visit” to a venue that we wanted to use for a PR event. Told him to take a few friends, check it out with pictures; talk to bar manager to determine if it’s an appropriate venue.

Manage agency staff we had stationed at a Def Leppard concert who were promoting the DVD 300 Have him work the reception area at a media party to promote our 3rd quarter DVD releases to industry critics, to encourage them to review them.

Rafik is a very mature, positive demeanour, responsible and thorough. He’s asking questions that are insightful and shows he’s thinking about what he’s doing. That’s rare. No issues.

He told me after his first week he was intimidated to come here but everyone was so welcoming to him that he instantly felt comfortable. Thanks for checking in.

Fabio demonstrated a strong work ethic and his knowledge of investments was evident. His presentation of the Brazilian market was well done, informative and enjoyed by the Portfolio Management Division of our company. This presentation demonstrated his strong grasp of the English Language.

Fabio was well liked by the other staff members and was a strong performer during his internship at Leon Frazer & Associates Inc. Given the right opportunity, I would have no hesitation in having Fabio as a full-time employee.

Angie is working out very well and is thankfully a self-starter. It has been wonderfully busy and, yes, Angie has been great and helpful.

Things with Miyako are going well. While I know that the technical language and the new industry sectors are a challenge for her, she seems to be adapting well.

Monica took Miyako to the CMTS show last week. It was a good experience for her as she saw the show, met one of our clients and got a chance to work the show a bit with Monica.

In addition, Miyako is very good natured, flexible and works well with everyone in the office. Thanks again for introducing me to the opportunity to have her work with us. I think it will benefit on both sides

My team had the pleasure of working with Roberto when he was an intern in the food & beverage department division for a period of 2 months.

He was organized, efficient and willing to do whatever was needed to get a particular task finished. Because there were often last minute deadlines, his coopertive attitude and good cheer were important and appreciated.

I am confident that Roberto will make a significant contribution to a future employer.

Priscila was an intern for Global News in Toronto for 2 ½ months and made quite an impression. She was here promptly before 6 a.m. each morning and took on each task with enthusiasm. In her relatively short time here she tried to learn as much about the newsroom and studio as much as possible, mostly on our morning show but also taking an interest throughout the day.

She would be an asset to any newsroom as she is energetic and easily becomes part of the team. I am sure she will do well in whatever she pursues.

Our latest intern, Ece, was just outstanding and we hope to have her back after she has finished her studies.

Melanie has done well for us. It took her a week to get up to speed on Ontario legislation, but she got through this on her own.

She’s been largely working on changes to our performance management system. She was very resourceful in finding information about different systems, on the Internet.

She prepared a couple of versions of the forms, and I then ask end her to combine elements of the two, which she did on her own. She also prepared a manual for how to use the form. She has done work on redrafting some of our policies.

Her spoken and written English is very good. Neither myself nor anyone else I know has had any issues in comprehending what Jackie is communicating to us verbally or in writing.

We have greatly enjoyed her presence here. A very nice person who does good work. Thank you for offering us this opportunity.

I’m writing in support of Rosanne, who completed an 8-week internship in the Royal Ontario Museum’s Programs Department.

Her placement involved providing ongoing administrative support for the Museum’s ticketed program as well as compiling a very considerable backlog of evaluation data.

Rosanne addressed the tasks with vigor and without complaint. Her attitude was positive and enthusiastic. Rosanne took an intelligent and diligent approach to her work and was a productive worker from day one.

Clearly we were impressed with her working attitude and skills and look forward to participating with a future program.

Heiner is busy working on special events including the police games and Lieutenant Governor games.

He has been a valuable asset to our organization. He has contributed a great deal in the planning of the events and has also got involved in some of the programs to increase his awareness of our services.

I believe he applied for a part time position here and had an interview today. We are all very happy with his involvement here.

Ruby’s earned a letter of reference. She’s been great. She has been working on our Health & Safety manual for the most part. She has located a WHMIS training kit and ordered it for us. She’ll be working on coordinating this into our training plans.

Also in our wardrobe department she was helping to organize fabrics (ends) and notions. I think she liked this, because she gets to be social with Emiko (who speaks Japanese). Although they still communicate in English (to include the others). If we had her for a longer period of time, I’d probably get her involved in a lengthier project but alas, this is already her last week.

We have enjoyed having her around.

Sooyeung is, thus far, the best intern. Attitude, appearance, and her excellent command of the English language. She has been an great asset to our team. Punctual, professional and shy all rolled up into a lovely package! She doesn't skip a beat.

We look forward to welcoming future students from the program.

Noriko is doing very well and has adapted to our department quite nicely.  She has been given several tasks and follows through in a timely manner.

She is doing very well, very fast learner, very good communication style and keeps us up to date on anything she is not precisely clear on and she always wants to be kept busy!

We have given her a European Project which includes adding in previous quote information for our Sales Agents to retrieve and do follow-up calls/adding names and payments for Group bookings.

The Sales Agents are very happy she is here and working with us in the department.
